2014-06-24Move eid functions to utils.c, mark netsock.h deprecatedCorey Farrell
Move eid functions from netsock.c to utils.c. These functions were already published by utils.h. Flag netsock.h as deprecated and switch res_pjsip_session.h to use netsock2.h. The only code that still uses netsock.h is chan_iax2. 2014-05-09Allow Asterisk to compile under GCC 4.10Kinsey Moore
This resolves a large number of compiler warnings from GCC 4.10 which cause the build to fail under dev mode. The vast majority are signed/unsigned mismatches in printf-style format strings. ........ ........ r369001 | kpfleming | 2012-06-15 10:56:08 -0500 (Fri, 15 Jun 2012) | 11 lines Add support-level indications to many more source files. Since we now have tools that scan through the source tree looking for files with specific support levels, we need to ensure that every file that is a component of a 'core' or 'extended' module (or the main Asterisk binary) is explicitly marked with its support level. This patch adds support-level indications to many more source files in tree, but avoids adding them to third-party libraries that are included in the tree and to source files that don't end up involved in Asterisk itself. ........ r369002 | kpfleming | 2012-06-15 10:57:14 -0500 (Fri, 15 Jun 2012) | 3 lines Add a script to enable finding source files without support-levels defined. ........ 2012-01-29Find even more network interfaces.Russell Bryant
The previous change made the code look for emN and pciN in addition to what it did originally, which was search for ethN. However, it needed to be looking for pciN#N, so that's what it does now. This also moves the memset() to be before every ioctl(). ........ Merged revisions 353175 from http://svn.asterisk.org/svn/asterisk/branches/1.8 ........ 2012-01-28Update ast_set_default_eid() to find more network interfaces.Russell Bryant

2010-08-15Support for GNU/kFreeBSDTzafrir Cohen
kFreeBSD is GNU (with glibc) on to of a FreeBSD kernel. See http://glibc-bsd.alioth.debian.org/porting/PORTING This patch gets Asterisk close to building on Debian kFreeBSD i386, mainly by adding an extra test for __GLIBC__ in one or two (or more) places. OSARCH is set to 'kfreebsd-gnu' DAHDI support (and support for chan_vpb) was not tested. 2008-06-10Merge another change from team/russell/events ...Russell Bryant
DUNDi uses a concept called the Entity ID for unique server identifiers. I have pulled out the handling of EIDs and made it something available to all of Asterisk. There is now a global Entity ID that can be used for other purposes as well, such as code providing distributed device state, which is why I did this. The global Entity ID is set automatically, just like it was done in DUNDi, but it can also be set in asterisk.conf. DUNDi will now use this global EID unless one is specified in dundi.conf. The current EID for the system can be seen in the "core show settings" CLI command. It is also available in the dialplan via the ENTITYID variable. git-svn-id: https://origsvn.digium.com/svn/asterisk/trunk@121439 65c4cc65-6c06-0410-ace0-fbb531ad65f3

2007-11-16Start untangling header inclusion in a way that does not affectLuigi Rizzo
build times - tested, there is no measureable difference before and after this commit. In this change: use asterisk/compat.h to include a small set of system headers: inttypes.h, unistd.h, stddef.h, stddint.h, sys/types.h, stdarg.h, stdlib.h, alloca.h, stdio.h Where available, the inclusion is conditional on HAVE_FOO_H as determined by autoconf. Normally, source files should not include any of the above system headers, and instead use either "asterisk.h" or "asterisk/compat.h" which does it better. For the time being I have left alone second-level directories (main/db1-ast, etc.). git-svn-id: https://origsvn.digium.com/svn/asterisk/trunk@89333 65c4cc65-6c06-0410-ace0-fbb531ad65f3
