2016-05-03pjproject_bundled: Various fixes discovered during testing of OSesGeorge Joseph
For all OSes: * Disabled third-party codecs in pjproject and added '--disable-speex-codec --disable-speex-aec --disable-gsm-codec' to the configure options since we don't use the pjsip codec capability. FreeBSD: * Added FreeBSD support to install_prereq. * Changed pjproject/configure.m4 to use $GNU_MAKE instead of hardcoding "make". * Added __progname and environ to asterisk.exports.in. * Reverted the use of ldconfig to create shared library symlinks to ln. * Only enable epoll in pjproject if `uname -s` is Linux. * Added a patch to pjproject to take the name of the 'make' command from an environment variable if supplied. This is needed for the python bindings. (merged by Teluu into pjproject trunk 5/3/2016) FreeBSD support isn't complete. Still some general issues regarding make/gmake having nothing to do with pjproject. With some handholding it DOES build successfully. CentOS: Added 'patch' and 'bzip2' to install_prereq PACKAGES_RH. CentOS 6/7 32/64 build and run the pjsip testsuite successfully. Ubuntu: No changes required. Ubuntu 15/16 32/64 build and run the pjsip testsuite successfully. Debian: No changes required. Debian 6/7/8 32/64 build and run the pjsip testsuite successfully. There will utimately be a follow-up patch to create an install_prereq for the testsuite as I've discovered a few missing requirements. 2013-08-22Add _IO_stdin_used in version-script to fix SIGBUSes on Sparc.Walter Doekes
The --version-script,asterisk.exports linker flag (and the module exports) didn't provide _IO_stdin_used in the list of exported symbols. That causes some kind of libc compatibility mode to kick in, where stdio file structures (stdout/stderr) land somewhere else. In the case of the Sparc, they landed on misaligned memory. This became apparent first after r376428 (Reorder startup sequence) when a lot of ast_log's were replaced with fprintf's. Writing to stderr triggered a SIGBUS. (Compared to x86 and amd64 architectures, the Sparc is very picky about memory alignment.) 2013-03-08This patch adds a new message bus API to Asterisk.David M. Lee
For the initial use of this bus, I took some work kmoore did creating channel snapshots. So rather than create AMI events directly in the channel code, this patch generates Stasis events, which manager.c uses to then publish the AMI event. This message bus provides a generic publish/subscribe mechanism within Asterisk. This message bus is: - Loosely coupled; new message types can be added in seperate modules. - Easy to use; publishing and subscribing are straightforward operations. In addition to basic publish/subscribe, the patch also provides mechanisms for message forwarding, and for message caching. 2010-06-08Add SRTP support for AsteriskTerry Wilson
After 5 years in mantis and over a year on reviewboard, SRTP support is finally being comitted. This includes generic CHANNEL dialplan functions that work for getting the status of whether a call has secure media or signaling as defined by the underlying channel technology and for setting whether or not a new channel being bridged to a calling channel should have secure signaling or media. See doc/tex/secure-calls.tex for examples. Original patch by mikma, updated for trunk and revised by me. 2010-04-02Allow symbol export filtering to work properly on platforms that have symbol ↵Kevin P. Fleming
prefixes. Some platforms prefix externally-visible symbols in object files generated from C sources (most commonly, '_' is the prefix). On these platforms, the existing symbol export filtering process ends up suppressing all the symbols that are supposed to be left visible.
